Donald Trump Says Nigerians Live in Huts

According to the Punch newspaper today: "In a meeting he reportedly attended in June at the Oval Office, Trump was quoted to have said Nigerians refuse to “return to their huts” after seeing America.
"He was also quoted to have said immigrants from Haiti “all have AIDS”, while describing Afghanistan as a “haven of terrorists.”"
According to the report, the New York Times report confirmed the meeting, but denied that the president used those terms "Huts" and "Aids" Go to PUNCH for full report
This news has grown viral on the Internet. Those responding want answer to the question of who has the blame, whether the US president or the Nigerian leaders.
From what I gathered from the thousands of comments so far, those who accommodate Nigerians in their countries are kind. We are a proud people on top of nothing. If it is possible to switch places with that Western country, it would help to understand this.

We often hear tales: The best doctor in America is a Nigerian; The most experienced  aviator in America is a Nigerian; Nigerian pop music is second only to that of the Americans. This people in the West and the other developed countries make all the things we have. Still, we are not ashamed to brag over nothing. What would we do if we make the things they use? As proud as we are, we would ask them to lie down so that we can walk on top of them.

When they occasionally call Africans animals some people want to commit suicide. The arrogant continent of the blacks would a dozen times say more than that if it can step into their skin to act.

Has Africa not built a history of barbarism in her jubilee of independence? Going to  a century of independence Africa, while still priding it's possession of the cradle of civilization cannot handle it's politics. Are the elites humans or animals? Do African leaders not show independence to be an unfortunate an cruel gift? Is the internal subimperialism not crueler than the rule of the masters?

How many of Donald Trumps people come to our country to find food. What have we cultivated or planted? What are we nurturing or hoping to harvest? When seeds are sowed in the wind, they are harvested in dreams. Because figuratively, our land isn't prepared for us to plant, hunger chases us to look for places where things are already ripening to pluck and eat. Then, Trump and his people tongue lash us and also give us food. Are they not kind? What right do we have to be annoyed after committing the crime of black rule that has destroyed our culture through militarization?

If anyone feels insulted by these angle bracketed words attributed to President Donald Trump, they should realise that Africa of which Nigeria is a case study, is more insulting. They let the soft touch of modern civilization reach our bodies. And if we possess intellectual honesty, we will acknowledge that it is still yet to touch our black hearts. If it has, what is the secret. Why is the mention of any African leader regarded as gross disturbance of public minds? Why did David Cameron step down when he didn't lose election to office? Why did a youth win an election in France? Why did Brazil fire her female president? They are progressive in both their system and in mind.

African government is a caucus and cabal. When they are sick, they prefer the seat of government to be their cemetery. When they lose elections they kill people and stay power. Some of them cannot operate android phones and they are controlling a system that is a million steps ahead of them.

If Trump even calls Nigerians monkeys that have gone rife looking for where banana is ripening, and give them food afterward, let them come back home and talk to their leaders if the insult suddenly dried their mouth and alter the organic functions of their bodies.

Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, spoke, with the certainty of the presidential choice of the two major opposition party, cleared. In his statement, during the yearly lecture of the Foursquare Gospel Church yesterday in Lagos, the former president said that Nigeria needs a president who understands the economy of the nation. Appalled by this statement, many wondered over the recent jubilation that he has finally thrown his support on the incumbent PMB for 2019.
